A Church to Call Home

Summer is starting to wrap up, and before you know it, the halls and sidewalks of our campuses will be back to their familiar business. It’s funny how it feels like there is still so much time before the fall semester starts, but in truth, it’s only a couple weeks away, and with that, we get back into full swing.

I don’t know what your exposure to our church has been. Maybe you came for a service and filled out a connect card, maybe you accidentally signed up for this list while playing a grocery game, or maybe you have found a place of belonging, a church to call home.

Whatever your story is, we want you to know we are here for you.

I am believing that in the face of hopelessness and sorrow, heartbreak and anxiety, depression and addiction, there is hope  – and I am believing that people will encounter that hope when they walk through the doors of our church.

I am believing that when people walk through the doors of Isaac’s at 3:00 PM on Sunday nights they will experience Jesus, who is the hope of humanity.

The truth is, that I feel as if God has something incredible in store for our church and our campus this year. I believe that we are going to see more people reached for the cause of Christ than before, and I believe that people will experience the fullness of life in Jesus for the first time.

If you have been trying to find a church to call home in your time at Brock or McMaster, but haven’t really found it, I invite you to discover your church. A church you not only can call home but take ownership of in making it a home for others.

A church you can be involved in even if you plan on leaving by the end of the year, or six months, or month. A church where you can take what God has put in your hand, and use it as a faithful steward for the kingdom.

We are always looking for people to join our team and help build into what God is establishing at Brock and McMaster.

You may be gone for the summer, maybe even feeling a little disconnected. But you don’t need a connect card to get involved.

If you would like to be part of our team or get more information about our church and how you can get plugged in go over to engage.liftchurch.ca and click on your site to get plugged in today!

I am so excited for what God is doing in our church,

See you soon.

Pastor Matt Litow.
