What we do

We start at each new campus humbly with what we call a Simple Church: a handful of missionaries and students meeting together in a home to pray and study scripture, do evangelism on campus, serve their city and worship together on Sundays. As that group begins to grow, it  multiplies into new Simple Churches. Through Simple Church, everyone is invited to discover Jesus, be discipled, and ultimately learn to disciple others in fulfillment of the great commission.

JOIN A SIMPLE CHURCH

SIMPLE CHURCH

Simple Churches  are the smaller communities that make up LIFT Church at all of our different campuses.  Through Simple Church, everyone is invited to discover Jesus, be discipled, and ultimately learn to disciple others in fulfillment of the great commission. Simple Churches have three weekly rhythms: Huddle, Gathering, and Evangelism. 

Huddle

Huddle is a weekly time set aside to study scripture and spend time in prayer as a Simple Church. This usually also involves some tasty food, a cozy home and great chats.

Gathering

Every Sunday at 4pm our Simple Churches at each campus get together to worship, hear the Word through teaching, and share a meal on their campus.

Evangelism

We share the gospel with others who may have never heard it by serving vulnerable populations in our city or chatting with students on our campus with our Simple Church.

DISCIPLESHIP

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.

DAILY DEVOS

Reading Scripture every day will change your life. As a church, we value spending time in Scripture together. Our Daily Devo books allow us to work through the same passages of Scripture each day as a whole church so that we can walk in unity, increase accountability of being in the Word and create more opportunities to talk about the Word of God with each other.
