The Second Rendering Reveal
LIFT Church exists to see people made fully alive in the hope of Jesus by being the church on every campus. This mission is the driving force behind the urgency to redevelop the Next Generation Discipleship Centre.
We believe the Next Generation Discipleship Centre will be a beacon of hope and a tool for resourcing generations of disciples to know and love Jesus.
The community kitchen and activity space, shown in the third rendering, will equip the multiple serving initiatives happening throughout Hamilton and provide access to flexible space for disciple-makers to use. The interior upgrades will include:
- Full-scale community kitchen
- Foodbank storage space
- New Accessible washroom
- Meeting rooms for Simple
- Churches and missionaries
- Updated activity space
As we have shared, the cost of the redevelopment has increased based on updated phasing from the contractor, additional work required to extend the life of the building, and inflation in the construction industry. This requires us to adjust our fundraising to $500,000 over the next 8 months instead of deferring the exterior to 2023.
